RE: G-5500

Hello Egon

The problem I had with Nova & FODTrack was that however you set it, Nova
always treats the FODTrack interface as being North breaking (ie, parks to
the South).

If, instead of using the native Nova interface, you use the DDE interface
and the latest version of WispDDE (which can use Nova instead of Wisp as its
interface), and configure WispDDE to talk to your FODTrack, you should be
OK.

WispDDE doesn't understand the G-5500 azimuth from 0 to 450, so you can make
it look like a 5400 (az 0-360) by simply placing a 150k resistor in parallel
with the exisitng 39k on U2D of the FODTrack hardware.

Need help to setup Nova for Widows to work with the FODTrack interface and
Yaesu G-5500 rotor, the elevation is OK but azimuth is way off.
With the FODTrack program it works just fine.
Thanks.
