The 16 x 36 inch reflector would be adequate with the appropriate feed but
will not work optimally with the helical feed. The helical feed is designed
to work with a circular parabolic reflector. Depending on the focal length
to diameter ratio of your reflector the feed will either be picking up
thermal noise from objects behind the reflector or only half of the
reflector's surface will be utilized.
