Steve,
This past Thursday night I had an AO-40 QSO with Al, W2NBJ alriccio@ieee.org
(email from www.QRZ.com), who was using a homebrew 4' dish in his attic
through rain-soaked shingles!
He had a strong uplink, also in the attic I think, and didn't seem to be
having any trouble with the downlink.
