[amsat-bb] Patch Ant

Just wanted to show you all what is inside the patch antenna used by the
X10 xmitters. Here are 3 views of the patch.      front   back and edge.

As you can see these are made from a piece of PC board and fed via a
minicoax. These are in the 2.4 ghz band just above us. This might be a
bit easier to construct, and also if nothing else the whole camera is
only 79 bucks.
