[amsat-bb] ao-40

I am using the uek-3000 powered through the coax. Using a ft-847. The
uek-3000 calls for 13 volts,but the rig is sending 12 volts up to the
downconverter.
 My problem is a high noise level. Wondering if the lower voltage can cause
this?
