I have been reading the BB here for a while in regards to antennas for
AO-40. Has anyone considered using a corner reflector for the U band uplink?
It appears you can get gains of around 14dbi, using a 90 degree reflector,
or more, if using less than 90 degrees. The bandwidth of the antenna is
wide, and it requires only a simple adjustment in location of the driven
element to get a 50 ohm feed point.
