The latter. And his AO40 demodulator is a mutant version of that. They
both worked fine with my PCI soundcard before this current ruckus; but
I haven't gotten that soundcard working well since I changed ethernet
cards (the old one was ISA, the new is PCI).
But with the via82cxxx_audio driver I get the "cannot set nonblocking
mode" error...which I'm afraid may be a weakness or incompatibility of
the driver.
I may have to go back to the old network card and the PCI soundcard to
straighten this mess out.
