You might remember there was a problem with one of the solar panels on
Skylab?  It didn't deploy properly due to some mechanical failure, and there
was concern before the first crew was sent up.  NASA was provided with some
pictures by "another government agency" which had enough resolution to show
the damaged parts, including some broken rivets or bolts.  The angle of the
pictures showed that the pictures were taken from orbit.  And that was 25+
years ago.  Hmmm.
