Once again, I agree with ed, at least as far as
voice/cw are concerned, however if the recent
comments about the strength of Rudak are true, it
should be possible to operate a 'digital only' ao-40
station with antennas in the 16 db range, assuming
rudak runs at the same power as it seems to be during
the commissioning.

P.S. just as a datapoint, I'm Currently copying 70% TLM
@51000 km and 14deg squint with a 24dbi(l) bbq dish, dem
preamp and easy-mod drake through a thin screen of trees.
Got here too late to mess with voice tonight...
