Re: removing Salt water from electronics.



Hi...

Well this is the E-mail that call up old experience from Wire Line logging in
oil wells .

We had Logging panels even with tube tech. and of course high voltages, this
was on
platforms on the sea, this is a salty environment, when the equipment had
problems
we wash it with a fresh water hose and some detergent, after it will shake
to take excess 
off water and put it into a chamber (old pipe with a bolted cover) and
connected a vacuum
pump for several hours, this was the grate solution for all the problems, I
believe that if
you put the equipment on front of a air conditioner will be the same result.

You must use a hose with some pressure to be able to move deposits under
components
a good help is a soft paint brush.

Don't be afraid I did it several times with perfect results.
