Re: antennas

Richard,

I'm having very good luck with the HyperLink Tech BBQ dish. 39", built like
a tank. It's a wireless internet antenna with horizontal or vertical
polarization. They are on the web. It has about a 1' length of LMR-400
coming off it, terminating in a female N connector. I appear to be hearing
quite well, and it is sitting on a cross boom only 5' off the ground.

It's not too heavy, has a slotted grill reflector, simple to assemble and
seems quite rugged. I paid 160 dollars for mine about 18 months ago, but I
get the impression they can be had for closer to 100 now.
