Nova and Squint angle display

All interested,

We have posted this several times but I can not find even my own messages
on how to do it. So I rewrote the procedure and hopefully saved it where I
can find it next time

If I forgot any steps, someone please comment and I will correct.

Procedure to display Squint Angle with Nova for Windows

1. Select Setup, Satellites, AO-40. This brings up the Satellite Editor
with AO-40 parameters in Left Window.
2. Adjust Alat and Alon to current values. No sign conversion is needed if
your Nova is newer than about last November 2000
3. Click on Sched. This brings up the Satellite Mode Schedule.
4. Select "AO-40 high-gain" for Squint type. Notice that mode schedules can
also be entered here in case you want to display OpMode. Click on OK
5. Now click on OK to exit the Satellite Editor
6. Right click your mouse over the map to bring up the context menu.
7. Select Configure View. This brings up the Individual View Configuration
dialog window for your AO-40 view
8. Click on Format text button. This brings up the Configure text display
for View window
9. Select Squint Angle and any other parameters you want displayed, such
as, Operating Mode, MA, etc.
10. BTW set Orbit Number to @perigee
11. Click on OK to close the text display window
12. Click on OK to close the Individual View Configuration window.
13. You should now see Squint and the other new parameters you selected.
