My parents are shopping for a condominium since the house that I grew up
in is a bit too large for them. They were talking with a loan officer at
their bank, and expressed reservations about living in a place with so
many rules and regulations. The loan officer replied something to the
effect of "Well, you really need these regulations to protect you,
otherwise some ham radio operator might move in next door...".
So much for our public image....
