 Hi All,

this was a great night indeed

when S1 switched on all signals are about 10 dB better than with S2
transponder.
At the AMSAT-UK colloqium, Freddy ON6UG promised about 10 db better due to the
higher gain of the dish aboard the spacecraft - many attendees would not believe
Freddys words -including DK2ZF...
At 22:40 UTC here in Europe activity was low F6AGR,OZ1MY, DJ1KM, DF8OO and
PA0SSB were ON.

Beacon on 2400.600 EB was quite strong

 worked following station until 23:55 UTC :DJ1KM DF8OO KE4AZN F6AGR PA0SSB
VE3EJN WB4FWQ OZ1MY W4SM KB8KPV at 23:55 UTC MA63
OK2AQK designer and builder of L1-RX was also active in SSB.

Found the following frequency pairs for L1/U and S1

1269.366 and 435.648 2400.368at 22:46 UTC
     372 2400.362
1269.374 and 435.656 2400.360 23:16 qso with WB4FWQ
1269.351 2400.382 23:30 UTC MA54
1269.320 2400.410 23:55 UTC qso KB8KPV

Still missed all the busy contributors to the amsat-bb.
Noticed that there seems to be a "belt of activity" from maximum west (indiana
to Florida) but no more to the west ) as seen here from hamburg.

73 es hope to work you on AO40
