I have a   R E A L L Y  big grin on my face right now!

I just had my first AO-40 QSO!  After finally getting the antenna back
up over the weekend and then being tied up with my truck being broken, I
finally got a chance to have a nice QSO with Art - W0EOZ on the
satellite.  I've got a few things I still need to do (like cabling the
PCR-1000 receiver into my audio mixer so I can use headphones), but at
least it's working!

Station is:
    Uplink:  Yaesu FT-736r with 5 to 10 watts into 2x20 elements on 435
    Downlink:  NC0Y modified TranSystem 3733 on 2x3 foot "PrimeStar"
dish fed to PCR-1000 receiver.

Signals were about 3 to 5 S units above the noise and solid copy.
