Sure, for almost 2 years, UO22 has been enabled for UI-Digipeating and can
be hit from any mobile. Receiving it is a little harder but entirely
possible on good passes above 30 degrees. Using the APRS Kenwood HT or
mobile makes it a snap.
But do not expect to see your own digipeats. UO22 is full duplex and the
digipeated packet comes back instantly and your rig wont hear it. Not a
problem for APRS style operation. But to have confidence you are making
it, I usually tansmit on the mobile and listen with the D7 HT so I can see
