Hi Francesco,

I was not able to find you in to the Callbook because you are probably
a relatively new licenced.

>From your locator i see that you are very close to Florence in wich we have
many very well equipped Radio Hams in condition to help you and check
the frequency of your Parabolic converter using HP calibrated generators.

In any case to verify at first your LO XTAL frequency is a simple matter to
open the converter box and use a frequency counter to read directly the
XTAL frequency.

If the Parabolic converter covers 2400-2402 MHz with an IF of 144-146 MHz
the LO should be 2256 MHz

The most popular multiplication is by 18 so that your XTAL should be
2256/18=125.33333 MHz
Please verify.

About the 400 PSK beacon please call me on the phone any time 081 -8474135
and i will let you hear on the sound from my tape recorder.

I would like to know if your converter is directly connected to the helix or
if you run coax cable in between.

Waiting for your comments 73 de i8CVS Domenico
