I couldn't agree with you more.  We hams tend to have jihadistic (is that a
word?) thinking regarding our favorite mode.  We'll declare a holy war on
anyone who doesn't agree with us.

Your point is correct.  I'm not worried about what that person thinks.  I am
worried about what their comments will do to the person who has not yet made
up their mind.  Someone who is thinking about getting into the birds but
gets a negative view from someone who is uninformed.  That's what hurts us
and why the inaccurate views need to be rebutted.

Actually, I think it has significantly increased from what I've been able to
gather.  I worked the booth at Dayton this year and it was very busy.
