A use for an SO239 socket on S band

I finally found a use for an SO239 chassis socket on S band....
1).On the pin side of the socket, carefully go around the crimped seal with
a junior hacksaw
2). Drive out the center connector, leaving an empty SO239 socket
3). Cut off the threaded portion from the other side of the socket
4). Clean up with a fine file, very slightly enlarge the center hole
Result???
A PERFECT spacer for that N connector you are going to put on your helical
dish feed, so that the center pin is the right height for the matching section!
Even the holes are in the right place
