Hi all,
has anyone already played with the parabolic'c (www.parabolic.se) 2400-144
downconverter? I have one and I played a bit with a 34 turns helix (I
don't know if I made it right though, I'm absolutely a beginner in this
field). I wasn't able to copy the sat, but maybe I haven't good keps (no. 16
set from amsat ranging) and/or bad pointing (armstrong with a compass) and/or
bad antenna (I can hear an harmonic of my PC oscillator I believe though).
What I observe is an S4 noise floor which seems to be constant wherever I
point the antenna to.
Any comment is appreciated.
thanks.
