Re: UO36?
Hi Ken,
UO-36 is in JD mode with 38.4Kb downlink (on 70cm) and 9.6Kb uplink (on
2mtrs). I downloaded 650KB this morning during its 1730Z pass. Seems to be
working ok!! :-)
Tiungsat also operates with a 38.4Kb downlink and 9.6Kb uplink. I got 2.2MB
on its 1950Z pass this afternoon.
I use a Symek TNC3S dual-port controller for all of my digital sat work --
it has a full duplex 9.6Kb modem in port #0 and a full duplex 38.4Kb modem
in port #1. In KISS mode it sends data from whichever modem is receiving to
WISP and can be told by WISP to send from port #0. I also have the Symek
IFD mod in my FT-736R to allow for the required wider bandwidth -- they have
these available for several different radios. If you are interested check
out: www.symek.com
Let me know if I can answer anymore questions. :-)
