Hi all,
I almost finished my 30-turn S-band helix and I noticed that the copper
tubing already started to show a good amount of oxide over it.
Is there a way to avoid the oxide? I thought about painting the whole
helix with wather resistant varnish, but I don't really know if it can
later the properties of the antenna.
Of course I could even silver-plate it but would it be worth it?
Thanks.
