RE: [amsat-bb] Why GPS Satellite Visibility?

Why not install two GPS receivers placed apart so that each see a
different part of the sky. Then you would have a joint probability that
one or both would see a satellite. You might find a time base that
offers this sort of capability as a part of a redundant receiver
configuration.
