RE: ERP on V and L for AO-40??
John and all:
These are pre-launch numbers. From present day experiences, what are the
real numbers for EIRP for planning purposes?

I just looked up the prelaunch numbers in the 1999 ARRL Handbook and they
are 100 W EIRP for 70 cm and 400 W EIRP for 23 cm. AO-40 was designed to
provide a larger SNR on the downlink so I suspect that the lower EIRP values
give AO-13-like performance.
