Taking it statistically (with four engines):
if you lose one, it takes a few minutes longer to arrive
if you lose two, it takes an hour or so longer to arrive
if you lose three, it takes hours longer to arrive
if you lose four, it takes a couple of days longer to arrive.

Whichever way, you either get there late ... or it doesn't matter.

Simple logic eh. Wonderful things: statistics.
