That a wonderful service, Alan. In my local copy of SatTrack I've added 
the transponder schedule to modes.dat (which has to be updated with the 
attitude data anyhow), currently as:

Mode:      BCN   0 - 255
Mode:      RUDAK 40 - 99
Mode:      XPDR 100 - 179
Mode:      RUDAK 180-239

which makes the MD column work nicely:

How are you massaging the ALON/ALAT to enter it in modes.dat? I'm 
putting it in directly and think I'm getting +Z referenced squint, 180 
deg out from the -Z face where the ears are....so a SatTrack squint of 
175 deg is actually 5 deg squint.
