Re: ao40rcv and FT847 ?



Fred,

     I don't think it will work that way.  The last version of AO40Rcv I
looked at would send a command for up 10 Hz or down 10 Hz.  The FT-847 has
no provision for that in it's command set.  Commands to the FT-847 must send
the exact frequency you want the radio to go to.  The AO40Rcv program does
not do this.  It would appear you will be better off connecting the mic
up/dwn clicks.  AO40Rcv would need to:

1.  Read the current frequency

2.  Then add or subtract the 10 Hz.

3.  Command the radio to the new frequency.

This is what we would need.
