For my setup, yes. I use the cable for the downconverter supply and a
seperate run for the preamp. They like slightly different voltages,
anyway. I had thought of tapping out the DC with an F type Tee (DC pass
thru kind) but decided it wasn't worth the possible losses. I'd like to
have a  more elegant solution.
