[amsat-bb] Re: AO-40 this morning?

Beacon was a bit weaker than I remember it being on the first day.

Only made one SSB "contact" (exchanged calls), as voices seemed to be right around the noise level.

Was able to get useable CW from the downlink with 5-to-7 watts into a 30 element RHCP.

Unfortunately I was aiming through a big leafy tree.

an '847.
