[amsat-bb] Europe-Usa qso on AO-40@may 5, 2001

Hi All,

Saturday in the morning at 08:33 UTC I have completed a qso with Mike N1JEZ.
The report was 5/2 and 5/3 and the range from my qth was over 60.000Km.

Working Condition:
Uplink 70cm: 45W (FT847) + 37Mt AircomPlus coax cable + 4 x 21elements yagi
f9ft tonna,  Linear pol.
Downlink 13cm (S2): just an antenna yagi tonna 13elements, Linear pol.  +
Homemade Converter 2400/144 ( Zac Lau design) followed by an homemade
GaAsfet pre (mgf1302) and 37Mt coax RG213
Rig:  FT847 modified for separated line RX/TX.
