The special Road Rallye with two Hams as one team trying to break the
record of 23 days, 23 hours from Alaska to Argentina has now passsed into
the USA and should make Mexico tomorrow. So far we have not seen them on
APRS or via ISS. But today I got Email asking how to set up the D700, so
maybe they will be on the air soon.
I dont expect them to make ISS while in the USA due to uplink congestion,
but once they get south and into South AMerica, we hope so...
Look for call ZZ2KKL.

I'm cousin of Cacá Clauset that rides a Subaru, together Marcelo,
across the Americas. He leaft 04/29/2001 from PrudHoe Bay, Alaska to
Ushuaia, Argentina. The objective of this travel is to break the Guiness
record, in 23 days and 23 hours - Too fast!
They are in USA today. Tomorrow they must be in Mexico border.
I can't configure the Kenwood D7000 for ISS connections, please if
you know how, please, talk to me, ok?
For while, try ZZ2KKL in www.findu.com tracker.
Hugs and peace
Flavio Vaz
