Reminder:

Ed Krome, K9EK has just updated his book with the new title "Mode S: The
Book 2001 Update" and it will be available for the first time at the AMSAT
booth at Dayton Hamvention.  I don't think anyone will be disappointed with
the information that Ed has put together, particularly with regard to
preparing for AO-40.

Keep in mind that that as part of the AMSAT forum at Hamvention, Bdale
Garbee, KB0G, will give a presentation entitled "AO-40 Ground Station
Requirements" that will also be very informative.  I understand that Bdale
plans to include a 'show and tell' as part of his overview.  The AMSAT forum
is 0830-1000 on Saturday (Room 1).  The Hamvention website now has the
program specifics for our forum (www.hamvention.org/forums.html).
