Re: SCTV downconverters

Here's an email I received from SCTV when I inquired about the '2500:

*******************************************************************
Good Day to You;

On March 31, 2001 SCTV closed its doors. This is due
in part to the fact that I cannot continue to put
funds
into the company. We specialized in custom made and
surplus S-Band downconverters. Since we were such
specialists we were limited in quantities sold.

I certainly enjoyed being a purveyor of fine
downconverters for the last 5 years. We will continue
to go to Hamfests as individuals and will have a
booth at some of them for fun and to sell personal
items and the remaining inventory of SCTV.

We will not be at Dayton this year but will be
at others

Thank you to those that purchased products from
us.The web page will become a resource page
for S-Band Equipment.

Best Regards and 73
