RE: AO-40 Improving!!
Hi all,
at my first attempt to capture AO-40 I got 312 Blocks with
118 having CRCC OK !!! MA239 -> 249 (LOS)
#
I?m using a homebrew 19-turn Helix, converter MKU24-Oscar by DB6NT
(0.6db NF, 28db gain), 10m RG-213, TS-2000, AO40RCV by AE4JY
#
The maximum S-meter reading was S8 (squint > 50deg.).
I wonder if I must detect any sun-noice with my equipment??
Could someone confirm that ??

I'll second this. Yesterday, I got my first good CRCC block. Today, I got
about 35! Man, I could hear it out about 27kM!
It is a good time to listen indeed.
