Point well taken--I probably should have said "Generic H.323 vs. NetMeeting".
Some precice terminology (more precice than my faux pas above) is going to be
necessary because if we start saying "NetMeeting" when we mean "H.323" we're
going to end up in danger of including one of the "extend" parts of "embrace and
extend", and cause endless headaches for anybody who isn't on Windows.

And if we stay generic, it won't even be 'stealing'. :-)
Multicast *is* IP, isn't it? I mean, it's the IP archetecture for addressing a
packet to more than one destination address, if I understand it properly. Or is
it further down the stack than that?
