Hi Jeremy,
I use an FT-100 paired with an ATAS antenna in my car. I have worked
SSB, CW, and FM satellites while driving to/from work at 60-70 MPH. (And
they think cell phones are a challenge!)

I use an ancient x386 laptop on the passenger seat running
InstantTrack and InstantTune (available from AMSAT) for
tracking/tuning - works great.

The FT-100 is also a great mobile HF rig - sometimes I'mm almost
sad to get to work as I have to stop operating!
