Hello Vince,
I installed my G-5400B in 1994.  About 1998, I experienced (Ibelieve)
the same symtoms that you describe.  The problem
turned out to be the 100 mfd motor capacitor in the control unit.  If
memory serves me, that is used for azimuth and the motor
capacitor for elevation is installed at rotor unit itself.  Hope this
