[amsat-bb] Transceiver Rx Coverage

Hi Guys,
             I've been told that the Kenwood TS-790 will receive(only) 
down to  400.000 MHz.   If so could someone confirm whether that 
is 'out of the box' or after (reasonable!) modification?
