A good example of a CP yagi setup..in the 1997? VHF Sprint, I captured
the top score for 432mhz in north Texas.
It seems to me using the circular poliz antennas in terresterial mode
that at
long distances the antenna pattern is distorted by the earth itself
(bouncing off
everything in the signal path) so the poliz really doesnt matter. Where I
have seen a difference is things like local repeaters ect that are not that
far away (ie:
under 50miles..(definate loss of gain)
