That's true. We wouldn't use any on-board PSK-31. The PSK-31
transponder is just a transponder. Telemetry and Control would use either
AX.25 or TTones or Subaudible tones decoders. See my CUBESAT page below
for how a KPC-3+ TNC can be made to fit in a CUBESAT. It has built in
analog telemetry and command switches... In fact, our PCsat also has no
CPU on board other than a KPC-9612.
