Hi,

as we discussed recently, the SHACKBUS system might be one of the
least expensive ways to create a remote control system for
amateur (and non-amateur) station control, including remote
measurement, sensors, actuator control etc.

I just created the web page http://shackbus.org where I shall
collect all information on equipment and control software using
the SHACKBUS protocol.

It will take some days until the first information is uploaded.

SHACKBUS.org will show all existing SHACKBUS devices and their commands.
No question, that this page will not adhere to a certain manufacturer.

I hope that this system will be accepted by many developers of
amateur equipment as the minimum standard to remote control a
complete satellite, EME or other station.

Any inputs, ideas or cooperation would be welcome. Write to:
DK9SJ@shackbus.org for your comments!
