Years ago in QST there was an article about some circular quagis. I built
several sets of them. The 2 meter antenna was an okay to good performer,
but I never got the 70 cm antenna to load well with the circular polarizing
balun scheme. The Mesilla Valley Radio Club used them as W5XR on field day
a couple times. They used wood booms and proved to be too fragile for my
last couple of QTHs.
