I can't say enough good things about the Arrow for hand-held work on the FM
LEOs. For me it made the difference between "working" and "not working" AO-27
(in the days before UO-14 was QRV for hams) with my Yaesu VX-5.  You do have to
not mind looking like you're dowsing for water in the wrong direction, though. I
even used it portable with my FT-847 once.

I did say "once". :-)
