Jim,

I had a similar situation when I bought my AutoTracker. To make a long story short, my ROM
had a bug in it. Once I made the manufacturer aware of the problem, he burned me a new ROM.

It can be frustrating to get ahold of him some times. Apparently it is a one-man operation and not his main job.
The time I couldn't get in touch with him, it turned out that he was on vacation  8^)  .

Hang in there. I'm sure he'll fix you up, once you get ahold of him.
