Hi Everyone:

    I'm about 10 miles NE from the center of the quake... My oh My! was my house shaking!!!! but its
still standing! Quite a few of the older/larger buildings took a hit though. At first it sounded
and felt like a 747 flying a couple hundred feet above my house, this lasted for about 5 seconds
then the sideways motion started, which lasted for about a minute. I was in the one in 1965
and the one a few years ago here in the Puget Sound area but this one was the
worst. Zero aftershocks so far.

    Looks like i'm off the satellites for a while, my downlink rig is broke. Hopefully the parts
to fix it will get here within a couple of weeks. I feel like i'm missing one of my senses
having nothing to listen to. 73
