PCR 1000

One thing to remember about the PCR 1000, is that the band scope silences
audio output when in the ssb mode. Therefore it cannot be used in the ssb
mode. The band scope works great on FM but does not work on ssb. If it
did, you could find the doppler downlink frequency quickly by just looking
at the scope and clicking on the bar graph, and the receiver would
immediately move to that frequency. The receiver tuning step will go as low
as 1hz.

On ssb it has two filter widths, 6kc and woops 6khz and 3 khz. It has afc,
att, NB, and agc, on off controls. It also has IF shift. Frequency control
is as easy as holding down either the right or left mouse button.
