Did I missed something?

All HiGain antennas, including the 70cm antenna, have been
reported as working OK..

The Omnis are on the other side..

I don't understand the rest of your guessing either, but
it doesn't matter.. 

Otherwise always look at http://www.amsat-dl.org/journal/adlj-p3d.htm
and the archives..
