Re: drake 2880 2.4 gig rx



Many other MMDS converters have synthesizers with phase noise too
great to be useful for narrowband SSB.  This is where the ultimate
risk is of trying other converters.  True, the loop filters could be 
redesigned, yadda yadda yadda, but it hits a point where Down East Microwave 
or building one from scratch makes more sense.
