Re: Personal replies via the BB



This list is a *public* forum. It's as if we were all in one big conference
hall.  Unless the question is 'off topic' a reply *should* go to the list
for a number of reasons:

1) Other folks may have the same question. They will never see a 'private'
response.

2) Other folks may have the same question. They will need to post the *same*
question to the list to get an answer.

3) Other folks may have the same question sometime in the future, but
private responses have denied them the "learning" experience so ... (see
above)

4) If someone replies with incorrect information, a public response allows
folks to offer alternate information.

This is just my (alternate) opinion. 73
