hi all,
thanks for everyone who sent emails with help on the subject.
i've been busy trying to understand the maths involved in tracking the sats
and i am confused in two points:
1) the diference between the semi-major and minor axis of the earth is only
around 22 Km ??
i guess this is right but i thought it was more, and i was wondering what
error % would be introduced if i considered it to be perfectly round.
compared to an orbit altitude of 2000 Km, this would only be 1% in diference
!!
2) positive longitudes are West right ? thus a positive longitude will
result a negative value in the X axis in a geocentric coordinate system ?
this sounds odd to me.
